YRKDaRapper is a Young Music Artist With a Positive Message

yrkdarapper

Brennan Thomas Martin is a rising music artist known professionally as YRKDaRapper. He was born in Neptune, New Jersey on January 5, 1998, to a single mother. His mother worked hard to provide for him and his siblings so that they would want for nothing. She also raised them in a city where they provide the youth with resources and opportunities to have the best education in support of having more kids graduate. Their childhood community supports each child and they come together as one big family to ensure positive decisions. The music doesn’t negatively influence the youth, but it does tell stories about the good and bad things occurring all around them.

YRKDaRapper’s mother signed him up for summer music camp at Blue Lite in Mount Holly, New Jersey when he was in high school. Instantly, he was drawn to the love of music. As time passed on, he was able to turn his anger into joy with the music he was producing. Music showed him a different way to deal with everyday obstacles and challenges. It’s helped YRKDaRapper create lyrics to show the youth that with motivation and drive they can develop their own skills and talents to build upon their dreams. He was inspired to be called YRK which means Young Rich King. He was not only fortunate enough to have a loving and supportive family, but he was able to find purpose with the music he’s begun to make.

With the professional guidance of the staff at Blue Lite and his family, YRKDaRapper developed a better understanding of how to promote himself so he could be more self-sufficient. He has been blessed to have honest and selfless people in his circle that are always there to lend a hand or answer questions.

YRKDaRapper says Meek Mill is one of his greatest musical influences because he doesn’t talk about violence and his focus is on changing the culture for the youth. He also respects the fact that Meek Mill changed his whole life around after going to prison and dreams about being a millionaire someday. YRKDaRapper can identify with what Meek Mill says in his lyrics and says it’s opened his mind up to ways he can bring others up as well.

The up-and-coming rapper is always dabbing with lyrics and beats to go along with them. Aside from his music, YRKDaRapper is also about to launch his own clothing line as well. Through his own experiences, he sees that there is so much that can be done. In five years, YRKDaRapper sees himself living the life that his lyrics speak about. He wants to be a man of honor and a strong role model for the youth. He plans on finding funding for the much-needed after-school programs to give back to the community that made him who he is today.

By the time he’s 33, he hopes to be healthy, living comfortably, and retired. In his free time, he will scout out new talent and guide them through the process of creating an individual image for themselves. Music will always be a huge part of his life and he wants to experience every aspect of the music industry. He wants to build an empire that his family can be proud of.

YRKDaRapper says some of his biggest challenges when he first got started was finding honest people to work with and people of a similar character wanting to build a new revolution of music for the world. And so far, his proudest accomplishment is when he looks back and sees how much he’s grown since starting his musical journey. He’s pouring his blood, sweat, and tears into making something beautiful that he can share with others. He wants his life’s work to carry on long after he’s no longer here. With his career still in the beginning stages, YRKDaRapper feels that he still has a lot of work to complete before he can call his musical journey complete. His end goal is to be considered a rap god and have his fans chanting his name.
