We know when a superstar like Mariah Carey got a show in Vegas coming up with Stevie Boi and SoJones is closer than a brother to the stars, some big money is about to be planked down on performances and being sure those vocal cords are safe. According to Palo Alto daily:

Pop singer Mariah Carey insured her vocal cords and her hamstrings for $70 million as sheextends her world tour to South America, TMZ reported.

SoJones keeps it lit with all the Mariah Carey entertainment you could want, with fashion looks as well from all over the world.

The singer, 46, who’s currently doing gigs in Eastern Europe, got a $35 million insurance policy on each on her prized vocal cords and on her glamorous gams, sources said. Each policy has a high premium, which supposedly costs thousands more dollars. Carey was also rumored to have insured her legs for $1 billion in 2006 when she starred in Gillette’s “Legs of a Goddess” campaign.

Just so you know, we also have that Jack Williams poetry that will set it off anytime you need some real depictions of what the hood is like, far from the glitz and glam of what Mariah Carey sees day to day. It’s only here on SoJones where you can get that kind of perspective of everything going on! This poem is called “Tattoo tears”:

Damn, girl- don't hurt em!

Damn, girl- don’t hurt em!

I’m shedding tattoo tears, I’m behind the marijuana smoke and the beers, I have been representing and believing in God, since my younger years. Although my path, thru this life isn’t always clear, and when you are under pressure, sometimes you go to adapt and veer. But me, I lean to grabbing a weapon and then I smear, DEATH WAS HERE, And you see it written in blood on the walls, When light appears and the truth and not the deception is what you fear. I’m shedding tattoo tears, I’m behind the marijuana smoke and the beers.

I have been representing and believing in God  in God, since my younger years, and I’m walking in a staging ground for whores. It’s funny how they set it up, for only the poor to easily fall in the trap, of getting ahead on you back, with legs open for my man groping and promising anything to fulfill her wishes, tragic but if the shoe fits- then repentance is what it is.

But there is not lust here in my shell, my zone, the territory where I call home, the dust of nature covers the sexual passion love tiers, we are all lovers here with hearts so pure, and to support our stability, I’d gladly be the one who is daily cleaning  up manure So I’m shedding tattoo tears, I’m behind the marijuana smoke and the beers, I have been representing and believing in God, since my younger years. Then I found the females I love and their personalities matched their majesty’s physique and the irreparable allure, became part of the inspiration for this soldier, to continue on, to fight and survive in this endless battle tour. And my love is defined in their hearts by the hooked which is my truth and charm lure.

So what you need is that Jack Williams poetry to get through the day.

So what you need is that Jack Williams poetry to get through the day.

And they are all as free as birds in the sky, cause for hem I have no leash or cage, I have only a shelter, for them to enter or exit as they please, with open windows and open doors, in case, they want to go outside and feel, they wind blowing against their pours. It’s them, which I cover, as the dust does the land or the Holy Bible, and repentance does a sinner. I mediate on them and say prayers of thankfulness for their kindness and loyalty. When I’m shedding tattoo tears, I’m behind the marijuana smoke ad the beers, I pour out a taste for my fallen peers, the ones who are resting in peace, as we continue on to the end, of our own years, and our own fleshly release.

Liek the CFO said, we were all in our bedrooms fantasizing about #mariahcarey back in the days.

Liek the CFO said, we were all in our bedrooms fantasizing about #mariahcarey back in the days.

And then on to Judgement day. When before God and all the people living and dead must bow down and obey, for the time of living and serving has passed away, and now for all we have done, we must answer up and pay. I’m shedding tattoo tears, I’m behind the marijuana smoke and the beers, I have been representing and believing in God since my younger years.

All Mariah Carey fans stand up and leave a comment. We salute Mariah Carey and that billion dollar hustle all day.

Behind the Music: Creating KOKOmotion

Published

on

The world of music is a melting pot of cultures, sounds, and stories. In this exclusive interview with Shah Cypha on “On The Grynd Live,” we get an inside look at KOKO, an artist whose journey from Finland to New York City exemplifies the grind and passion that drive the music industry. KOKO’s story is one of diversity, self-empowerment, and the relentless pursuit of one’s dreams.
A Blend of Cultures: KOKO’s International Soundscape

KOKO’s music is a testament to her international background. Hailing from Finland and spending part of her life in Brussels, Belgium, she brings a blend of Northern European sophistication and Middle European jazz and funk to her music. It’s this eclectic mix that sets her apart, making her sound a breath of fresh air in the New York scene.

KOKO mentions her fondness for the jazz and funk she experienced in Brussels, stating, “I definitely have like funk elements in my music, especially from the time when we lived in Brussels, because we went to see like a lot of jazz, for example, at all times.” This richness in artistry isn’t just serendipitous; it’s intentional and a core part of who she is as an artist.

The New York City Metamorphosis

Moving to the epicenter of varied artistic expression, New York City, KOKO continued to evolve her craft. It’s here that she found the latitude to further her studies in sound engineering and delve deeper into the music world. Attending SAE Institute of Technology was a decision that would shape her future, immersing her in a community that lives and breathes sound.

Yet, it isn’t just about the music for KOKO. It’s about being “in motion,” as she refers to her debut LP, aptly titled “Coco Motion.” This project encapsulates her experiences and growth during her time in the States. Each song represents a timestamp, chronicling her evolution from an international student to a New York artist. “It’s like a timeline, almost like how my journey has been here,” she reflects.

The Beacon of Self-love and Empowerment

Amid the beats and melodies, there’s an underlying narrative in KOKO’s music: the importance of self-love and empowerment. These are not just themes but the lifeblood of her creative expression. KOKO is on a mission to inspire, guide, and remind listeners of their inherent worth and capacity for love.

She doesn’t shy away from her advocacy for mental health, recognizing its significance in today’s society. For KOKO, music is a medium for healing and spiritual growth. “My sound is conscious pop,” she says, signaling the reflective quality of her songs and their purpose to resonate on a deeper level with her audience.

As we recap the indelible impression KOKO has made in her interview with Shah Cypha, it’s clear that her trajectory is not simply one of personal ambition but also of universal resonance. Her music, imbued with both her Finnish and Brussels-influenced roots, has found a nurturing home in New York City, blossoming into a soundtrack of self-development and positive vibrations. With a firm stance on female empowerment and mental health, KOKO’s presence in the industry goes beyond entertainment; it’s a catalyst for transformation and healing. Her upcoming LP, “KOKOmotion,” is set to ripple through the collective consciousness, reminding us all to stay in perpetual movement toward our highest selves.
