Stevie Boi Presents: All eyes on Stevie

Published

on

We love Stevie Boi and the fact that him and Beyonce are good buddies thanks to his brilliant designs. On the other hand it’s a shame that Beck can’t even accept an award without Mr. West claiming crazy. We have some exclusive interview questions we are whipping up, but for now I wanted to draw attention to this reality show over at Dream Nation TV. Click here to visit the blog page and stay tuned for our own interview with Stevie Boi we are hosting. Now in a recent texting conversation with Stevie Boi, it is known that he will be styling some of the stars from last night’s event. Here is a short recap of the episodes from his show so far:

Episode 1: As we begin to see what stevie boi has to do within his day, we notice that he wakes up very early in the morning just to attend meetings. His assistant and president of his brand is helping him, and we find stevie boi visiting a museum which could possibly host his own artwork one day very soon! Will stevie boi, with his long list of celebs, know what to do with all this newfound attention to his brand?

Others have had criticisms of his show, like NY Fab back in 2012:

Known for crafting ornate sunglasses that celebs like to wear, Stevie Boi presented last night during New York Fashion Week at Yotel. The Studio 54-themed fashion show was complete with wild hair, cute but bedazzled helmets and of course those sunglasses.

And while the glamour walking down the runway was one highlight, another overwhelmingly was the reality stars sitting front row. Love & Hip Hop’s Erica Mena, Yandy Smith and Kimbella along with Basketball Wives’ Draya, Malaysia, crazy Jackie and Laura Govan were all sitting front row, erupting into cheers when Gloria Govan walked down the runway. (Of course, VH1 cameras were there filming the entire thing.)

its easy to be a winner when you know stevie boi.

Well what do we now have for our hero stevie boi after 3 yeas since then? Styling at the grammys is huge, and everyone should get ready for what is to come after this show airing right now. You gotta know what to do with those models when you have them down the runway. The critics have spoken:
Although Stevie Boi can get reality stars to his shows, he has a lot to work on when it comes to producing a quality fashion show. Not only did he have backstage drama, the show was completely disorganized (The VIP list might has well been the general list). Not to mention the cash bar and no giftbags. If he wants to appeal to those true fashionistas, and get more than D list celebs wearing his shades, Stevie should focus on producing a quality fashion show, which is much more than throwing models down a runway.

Dee-1 Calls Raheem DeVaughn To “Purify My Eyes”

Fresh off his Breakfast Club appearance after having “Lines Drawn” with help from Billboard and successfully migrating From The Hood To Harvard, NOLA native Dee-1 taps Soul singer/songwriter Raheem DeVaughn for “Purify My Eyes.” Continuing his theme of counter-culture centered messaging the timely track, which was produced by Anonymous, urges listeners to replace images of corruption and cynicism with lifegiving content to reprogram our thinking for the better.

“This is easily one the most important songs I have ever done because it provides Hip-Hop with a solution-based perspective meant to combat some of the problems we face as a culture. It’s honest, raw, and transparent. I’ve been friends with Raheem Devaughn for a long time, so to finally collaborate on a song feels great. When I played the record for him, he fell in love with it and instantly added his parts; which took the song to another level,” say’s the David Found His Slingshot author in a exclusive statement to Medium Creative Agency.

Award-winning rapper. educator, host, activist, business owner, and keynote speaker are synonymous with Louisiana’s Dee-1. The Nasir “Nas” Jones Hip Hop Fellow at Harvard University is a Billboard Top 10 charting, game-changing MC with a persona to match his penmanship. He’s transitioned from being a middle school math teacher in The Boot to a Hip-Hop heavyweight with much more to accomplish. He has released 10 albums and 21 projects thus far in his career.

Dee-1’s music is part of a bigger lifestyle movement called Mission Vision, which centers around three core principles: Be Real. Be Righteous. Be Relevant. In 2020, Dee received the prestigious NAACP “Power of Influence Award,” highlighting his community activism and commitment to inspiring the youth. In 2021, he was nominated for an Emmy Award for his work on “The Manhattan Project,” but he lost to Michelle Obama. Later that year, Dee was appointed to the “Louisiana Council for the Success of Black Men and Boys” by Governor John Bel Edwards, making him the first rapper in Louisiana history to become a governor’s appointee.

After addressing critics and fans alike in the official music video for the Danny Beats-produced single for “Lines Drawn” and following his viral interview on Sway In The Morning centered around industry hypocrisy, Emmy-nominated educator turned entertainer Dee-1 released his latest project to date From The Hood To Harvard. The 8-track body of work includes guest features from Skyy Brooks as well as P3RK and is anchored by supporting records “Impostor Syndrome” & “Dr. Freshh.”
