There is a reason the L.L. Bean boot sells out year after year.

The U.S. made footwear is fashionable and functional, with a rubber bottom that is perfect for rainy or snow-filled days. Coming in only a few varitations of color, the demand for the boot goes up as the temperatures go down. According to an interview with The Atlantic, “the trends keep coming back to us. Then people will go away for awhile and they keep coming back. We’re just happy to be in one of those cycles, when it’s the largest of those cycles we’ve seen.”

So while it is a perfectly designed shoe for the season, it is how you style it that makes all the difference. When you are wearing a shoe you know a million other people will be rocking, stand out with some fun styling.

Whether you want to rock a floral print dress with a faux fur vest and leggings or keep it more traditional with skinny jeans and a ribbed knit sweater, that is up to you. Rock a poncho, denim on denim, and don’t forget to accessorize. But please, just leave the puffy vest at home.
