School’s out for the summer, and Lourdes Leon is celebrating with a new look. Madonna‘s oldest child stepped out in N.Y.C. Tuesday sporting a grayish-white hair hue. See her freshly dyed mane below.

The 18-year-old student just finished her first year of classes at the University of Michigan (where Madge took classes before she left to pursue her pop career). Earlier this year, Lourdes debuted a septum piercing (which is still going strong), and she’s always been expressive with her style choices. (Wonder where she learned that from?)

“I had to go through that awkward time of ‘trying stuff out’ to figure out what I liked wearing best,” she wrote on her blog. “I still don’t think I have a defined style, maybe because I don’t want to limit myself to what I should wear.”

Madonna also debuted a new look recently, dyeing her tips hot pink. Maybe Lourdes will be inspired to add in some color too? The pair have a very close relationship, and Lourdes even weighs in on her mom’s music, including the tracks on her latest album, Rebel Heart.

“My daughter Lola, who’s in university now, kept sending me text messages, saying, ‘Mom, can you please text me the Diplo track?’ And I’m like, ‘The record’s not out yet. No, I can’t send it to you,’ ” Madonna told the Today show earlier this year, adding that she made sure to send Lourdes off to college with some sound advice.

“Try to do everything in moderation, try not to kill all your brain cells, and try to go to class,” she said.

What do you think of Lourdes’ new look? Should she stay gray? Add in some color? Sound off below.

on

In the bustling streets of Southeast, Washington DC, rapper Kazon’s latest offering, “My Brother,” emerges as a symphony of redemption and advocacy, resonating with audiences far and wide.

Kazon’s path to musical stardom has been fraught with obstacles, from brushes with the law to a brush with death that left him scarred but unbroken. Through it all, he credits his resilience to the belief that every setback is an opportunity for growth.

With “My Brother,” Kazon takes on the role of a lyrical mentor, offering guidance and solace to Black youth grappling with violence and systemic oppression. Through heartfelt verses and melodic refrains, he shares his own journey of redemption, using his past mistakes as a catalyst for change.

At its core, “My Brother” is a call to action—a plea for unity, love, and advocacy within the Black community. Kazon’s harmonious tale serves as a reminder that through solidarity and advocacy, we can effect real change and pave the way for a brighter future.

As the final notes of “My Brother” fade into the ether, Kazon’s message lingers: every trial is a testament to our strength, and every mistake is a chance to do better.
