Rapper M.I.A. hoped on Twitter to put her baby’s father on blast. The Sri-Lankan born, Britain-based rhymer called out Benjamin Bronfman, the father of her 4 year old son, and his family.

Apparently, they are engaged in an ugly battle for custody.

“BEN You can’t take my son away from me ‘The Mother,'” she tweeted. “Just because you have money doesn’t mean you have the right.”

“WOW. THE BRONFMANS WANT TO TAKE MY CHILD AWAY FROM ME. WHAT KIND OF SH*T IS THAT? THEY NEVER SEE HIM,” she continued.

“Every child needs the MOTHER,” she added. “I GREW UP WITHOUT A DAD. If grew up without my mother I wouldn’t be here.”
