Versatile young artist E. Morgan combines opera/choir
vocal training with love for EDM

ATLANTA, GA – Few hip-hop artists today have the pedigree and resume that E. Morgan brings to the table. A member of the Richmond Boys Choir until age 17, E. Morgan is a classically trained musician whose early Gospel roots evolved into training as an opera singer and touring as a pop musician. Throughout his young career he’s been able to open for James Brown, Temptations, the Four Tops and En Vogue. He’s traveled to Panama to headline a festival. He was a tenor soloist for Mozart Requiem. He studied vocal performance while in college, becoming such a master of his craft that he birthed his own vocal conditioning business called E. Morgan Music LLC – where he focuses on one-on- one sessions with other vocalists and songwriters to enhance their gifts.

That impressive resume is being brought to bear on his new single, “FYO,” which he dropped earlier this year. It is the first single off the upcoming album “Snakes In The Garden,” which he hopes to release before the end of the year. The song is an EDM/pop fusion that will definitely make anyone who listens want to move to the music.

“FYO stands for Forget Your Opinions,” E. Morgan said. “It’s about not letting people put opinions or fears into your decisions. Stay strong in your beliefs. Live the kind of way you want to live. For me as an artist, for example, I started in Gospel and had a lot of songs with heavy scripture. Now I’m doing pop and R&B, which has a whole different flavor. A lot of people were trying to tell me what was going to happen if I made that shift, and I had to get out of my head and stop listening to those opinions and just put the work in to make something new and original and good.”

E. Morgan said part of the reason why he made the shift to a different genre and sound is because he just fell in love with the writing style of EDM. Though he loves his roots and is grateful for the opportunities he had through Gospel music, he personally finds a deeper connection with music through EDM.

“It’s just easy for me to write for that genre, and it’s very radio friendly,” he said. “I know what I love to hear, and I want to produce what I love to hear in my own ears. But I’m bringing a whole new element to the genre. Having Gospel and classical and opera training helps me be more of a well-rounded artist. I’m able to have a Chris Brown or a Trey Songz or a Ro James vibe, but with different elements of any of them because I have so many unique vocal talents and music industry knowledge under my belt.”
With the motto “I live and breathe music,” E. Morgan has already embarked on a music career that many would be jealous of, and he has his sights set on bringing a unique blend of Gospel, R&B, soul and EDM to the world.
