Omega B is an Alabama born Singer/Emcee/Songwriter who is no stranger to the arts. Omega gained the love the stage upon her debut as a lead guitar player, with the Blues Camp Kids, at the tender age of seven. For years she traveled and performed all over the southern states with the advanced blues group where she was a lead guitarist and vocalist (her debut rap appeared to a modernized version of Stevie Ray Vaughn’s “Tick Tock”). When asked about her greatest moment in entertainment she always credits the performance in which she shared the stage with the legendary B.B. King, “his energy was amazing. He played with so much raw emotion. The feeling was so powerful.” Since then her talents have flourished into being a guitar player, singer, poet, Emcee, activist, producer, disc jockey, and even a painter. She credits her unique style to being introduced to a wide spectrum “scientist” who uses music as a form of liberation. Comparable to Bahamadia, Omega says that she gains inspiration from a wide range of artists like KRS-One, Sade, Erykah Badu, Tribe Called Quest, Queen Latifah, Bob Marley, and Outkast; just to name a few.
