It seems like simple math that placing a beautiful woman in a movie is guaranteed ticket sales and box office supremacy, but this new crop of talented runway stars are forgoing Transformers and superhero flicks for something with substance. Names like Brooklyn Decker, Tao Okamoto and Stacy Martin have already made an impact in such films like Battleship and The Wolverine, respectively.
Breaking the conventional stereotype of just being a one-dimensional role, these women are a force within the growing independent film sector. As the females on this list continue to break the mold, these models-turned-actresses have eschewed the big blockbuster mega-hit in favor of projects that have some meat, substance, and challenge. With or without the media attention, beauties like Marine Vacth (Young & Beautiful) and others are embracing indie more than ever before.

The boss gives him just one more chance to prove himself. Then, the most unlikely of events happens, causing a chance meeting of Allen and Marcus and starting a downward spiral like no other.
