Adele’s Green Sequin Dress Has Us Saying ‘Helloooo’

Adele‘s 25 promo tour is just beginning, and it’s off to a very stylish start. (Don’t even get us started on that fierce leopard coat she wears in the “Hello” music video, which is up to 253,363,377 views and counting.)

The 27-year-old singer performed her record-breaking ballad for an hour-long BBC special with host Graham Norton (called Adele). And she looked like a goddess in her glittering green dress.

For her big performance, the star turned to British designer Jenny Packham, selecting a an olive green crepe cocktail design with gold beading and Swarovski crystal embellishments. (Note: The BBC special airs Nov. 20, to coincide with the release 25.)

The star’s return to the spotlight comes at a time when she’s feeling secure in her own skin, thanks to a new healthy lifestyle.

Adele opened up about her fitness routine in a recent interview with Rolling Stone, explaining that while she doesn’t like working out, she hits the gym “to get in shape for myself, but not to be a size zero or anything like that.”

She also shared that she’s confident with her shape. “Would I show my body off if I was thinner? Probably not, because my body is mine. But sometimes I’m curious to know if I would have been as successful if I wasn’t plus-size. I think I remind everyone of themselves. Not saying everyone is my size, but it’s relatable because I’m not perfect, and I think a lot of people are portrayed as perfect, unreachable and untouchable.”

And if you’ve noticed Adele’s glow, that could also be because she’s cutting out cigarettes, sugar and alcohol. One thing she won’t give up completely? Carbs!

“I’d never deprive myself like that!” she joked.
