Superstar singer Akon is being accused of physically disabling a concert worker at a show in Alabama back in 2009. A man named Matthew Graham is suing the star for causing him permanent injury after a stage dive. Graham worked Akon’s show at the BayFest Music Festival that year, when the singer “negligently or wantonly leaped into the overcrowded mass of concertgoers.”

According to TMZ, Graham claims that he sustained permanent injuries to his knee, back, head, and body and is physically disabled due to the incident.

Graham is suing Akon and BayFest, Inc. for medical expenses, lost wages, physical pain and mental anguish.
