Ashley Benson Returns to Her Blonde Ways: See Her Freshly Dyed Hue
Just in time for the ball to drop, Ashley Benson has a new do for the new year. The Pretty Little Liars star is back to blonde after a year of experimenting in “bronde” territory.

“Blonde,” Benson simply captioned the above photo on Instagram, showing off her sunkissed hue, which her PLL character Hanna Marin is best known for.
In fact, the actress told PEOPLE last year that PLL producers don’t like when she changes up her mane look too much.

“I had to cut it for this photo shoot that I did and then Pretty Little Liars called me and were really mad at me so I had to put extensions in,” she shared, adding that if she needs to be careful about too much bleach to avoid damaging her strands.
“I cannot change my hair or else it will fall out,” she quipped.

Benson’s PLL costar and BFF Shay Mitchell is more attached to her hair, recently revealing to Mane Addicts that she’s timid to change up her look.
“The reason I have so much fun with wigs is because I’m not brave enough to cut or color my own hair. I do that same thing pretty much all the time with my hair, which is just what I’m comfortable with,” she shared. “Down and a beach wave. Sometimes I’ll switch up the wave a little bit and I feel like that’s me being really crazy. My hair is my security blanket.”
