Michelle Obama White House Governors Ball preview FLOTUS Michelle Obama Checking Hecklers From The Podium

Our beautiful, classy First Lady of These United States, is about that life, honey! During a recent speech at a Democratic National Committee fundraiser at the home of Karen Dixon and Nan Schaffer in Washington D.C., Michelle Obama was interrupted several times by heckler, Ellen Sturtz. Sturtz, an LGBT rights advocate, wants President Obama to issue an executive order to end discrimination against sexual orientation for federally contracted employees.

Unfortunately Sturtz, who paid $500 to attend, thought interrupting Michelle’s speech was the best way to advocate her platform.  First lady said, “One of the things I don’t do well is this,” and walked over toward the heckler and gave Sturtz a choice face to face:

She came right down in my face,” the heckler said. “I was taken aback.

According to Madame Noire, First Lady Obama told Ellen Sturtz and the audience, they had one choice when it came to their speaker:

Listen to me or you [Sturtz] can take the mic, but I’m leaving. You all decide. You have one choice.

Sturtz wanted to take the mic, but the audience made the final decision, with one woman telling Sturz , “You got to go!” Sturtz was then escorted off the premises, and of course ran to the media for her two minutes of fame.
So basically this woman wanted to shout at and over the FLOTUS, interrupting her speech, but was “taken aback” when she was confronted. *rolls eyes*
