Gwen Stefani Borrows Blake Shelton’s Camo Baseball Cap: 4 More Celebrity Couples Who Share Wardrobes

Published

on

There’s nothing like borrowing something from your significant other’s closet to instantly take your relationship from Netflix and chill to Facebook official status. And this morning, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton did just that, winding up the are-they-aren’t-they rumor mill once again with their most official ship move to date. Gwen posted an #IWokeUpLikeThis-style selfie wearing a camo-printed hunting hat that could only belong to a certain country superstar and co-judge of The Voice.

In the selfie she posted from bed this morning, the “Used to Love You” singer wears a very uncharacteristic camo baseball cap, complete with a logo of two pistols and a deer head, paired with no makeup and some thick-rimmed black glasses. Anyone even remotely familiar with Gwen’s typical apparel will know how unusual this choice in headgear is for her considering she generally goes for a super glammed-up rocker aesthetic, and even when she’s dressed down tends towards high end, minimalistic chapeaus. It seems like Blake, who has been spotted in a number of very similar hats with this exact logo, is bringing out the country girl in Gwen. But as it turns out, when it comes to celebrity couples sharing closets, Blake and Gwen are in very good company.

This year, we also saw Kim go from simply letting Kanye have the final say over all of her ensembles, to actually just wearing his clothes. Of course, the reality star would never just straight up borrow a piece from Kanye’s wardrobe without giving it a super sexy twist all her own. While the rapper styled his flannel with one of his many standard white tees and skinny jeans, Kim wore it totally unbuttoned and tucked into some super high-waisted, wide-legged trousers for a grunge meets glam moment. They’ve also been spotted sharing a number of jackets and t-shirts, including a Givenchy one featuring Kanye’s face which Kim claims helps her feel close to her husband when they’re traveling apart.

Kylie becomes more like Kim every day, but the similarities go well beyond their shared genetics, penchant for contouring, and wardrobe full of crop tops and sheer jumpsuits. It looks like Kylie’s also picked up on her sister’s trick for repurposing her S.O.’s favorite pieces and giving them her own unique flair. In this case, the youngest Jenner nabbed her boyfriend Tyga’s pricey 424 jean jacket for a low-key look at the Glamour Woman of the Year Awards after suffering some wardrobe malfunctions. You know what they say, the couple that distresses their denim together, stays together.

Zayn and Gigi may be the newest couple on this list, but that didn’t stop them from swapping accessories from basically day one. It seemed like almost as soon as the pair were spotted out together they started sharing clothes, escalating their relationship from speculative to hot and heavy pretty much overnight. The speculations first started to fly when the pair were spotted out together leaving The Nice Guy in LA. But things got really serious when eagle-eyed fans realized that the former 1D singer had posted a selfie earlier that day wearing what appears to be the very same browline glasses Gigi had on during their date. Nothing screams true love like sharing the same prescription lenses.

Finally, Cara Delevingne and Annie Clark (better known to some as St. Vincent) also used their joint closet to confirm to the world that they’re way more than just really good friends. After making their first official public appearance together back in April at a Burberry event in London where Annie wore the black trench coat in question, the very next day it was spotted on the back of her model girlfriend as they made their way through the airport. All of these celebs are proof that the best part of being in a relationship is doubling your wardrobe faster than you can say, “thanks bae.”

What do you think of these couples sharing clothing? What pieces of clothing would you love to see these stars swap? Do you share clothing with your S.O.?

What I think is funny, the outro is actually me recording a bunch of potential beat tags. There was a miscommunication and Nemizzo extended the beat and made it the outro. I like it though lol.” Check out Santa Sallet merch here.
