In Case You Missed It | NO MAYO’s Make-Shift Gallery Event Was An Incredible Success‏‏ @NOMAYO

Published

Thursday, May 12, Brooklyn, New York based creative clothing company, NO MAYO hosted an entirely dope Make-Shift Gallery Event: “How Much Does 10000 Hours Cost?”

While paying homage to Malcolm Gladwell’s famous 10,000 hour rule, the place was packed with creatives + artists of all sorts, different backgrounds, travelers and locals from all five New York City boroughs, and the surrounding areas. The intimate space was a true gift; giving a huge dose of inspiration to all who attended — hey, even myself.

With performances from Brooklyn based rapper Latasha Alcindor and funky comedian T. Wise, the space was vivid with artistic expression. From the serene and perfectly lit view of L-HAZ’s artwork — even to all of the brainstorming doodles that covered the walls, we all got a chance to focus on just how much the process of 10,000 hours costs.

NO MAYO creator Kiesh also unveiled her latest piece of apparel, “The Classic” cap — which is now available in NO MAYO’s online shop.
