Young Money president spoke to Mack Maine about the initial reports of label superstar Lil Wayne being near death last week. He revealed that he was with Wayne when the story broke and shared Weezy’s reaction. “I was actually sitting right next to him, honestly, when it happened, and his mom was in the other room, and his face dropped,” Mack Maine told Sway. “I just saw it in his face, like, ‘I can’t believe that.’ … A lot of blogs and stuff put out some foolishness, but that wasn’t true. He has four kids. Imagine his daughter hearing that somewhere in school or something like that, so he wasn’t too happy about that.” “He’s blessed, he’s up, he’s in good spirits, and we’d like to thank all the fans for the prayers,” he added. “A lot of people reached out and showed love, but Wayne’s at home, he’s relaxing.
