Say Aloha to the Tropical Vans Spring Collection!

Now that we’re getting out of this dreary winter, maybe you’re looking for some garments that have a more tropical feel to them. You know, something that you can sport in the upcoming warmer weather. Since it doesn’t get any more tropical than Hawaii, the Vans Spring 2013 Island Collection has got you covered.

This season’s Island collection features a variety of apparel and accessories that are warm and cheerful. The collection features Casual Friday Aloha Shirts and Casual Friday Tanks on Aloha Camo and Ukulele prints. The collection also has a pair of Ukulele Boardshorts. These shorts have been stitched using a neat material called Surf Suede, which helps them dry faster. Accessories include Spicoli 4 Shades in Milky Blue Aloha Camo and a Casual Friday Snapback in Milky Blue Aloha Camo or White Ukuleles.

With the wild beach imagery making up the pattern, there’s nothing that captures the vibe of a Hawaiian summer quite like the Aloha prints do. Meanwhile, the Ukulele print obviously pays tribute to the tiny instrument that has been a major influence on island music and culture.
