Photo: AKM-GSIKanye West is in such a happy space these days. We know he tried to shove his happiness down our throats on “The Kris Jenner Show” but he really is happy– only days away from getting married.
The rapper was recently approached by a fan in Paris who wanted an autograph on his Nike Air Yeezy 2 Red October kicks. The only issue was… they weren’t real.
“These are not real though, it’s alright,” West said to the young fan. A surprisingly calm response to a counterfeit copy. West then hops in his matte black Lamborghini Aventador with Kim Kardashian and heads off.
In December West made the announcement that after two collaborations with the athletic company, he’ll be switching ships to Adidas. “[Nike] said, ‘We can’t give you a royalty because you’re not a professional athlete,’” West said on “The Angie Martinez Show”. “The old me, without a daughter, would’ve taken the Nike deal because I just love Nike so much, blah blah blah. But the new me, with a daughter, takes the Adidas deal because I have royalties and I have to provide for my family.”
Maybe that’s why he wasn’t pressed– it’s not his money on the line.
