Published

on

Anthony Bailey (aka AntBailey) is a Queens-born, Atlanta- raised artist who has a creative vision that he wants to share with the world. He saw music as another way of expressing himself and found that calling in high school but it wasn’t until after learning Dance at The Artist Institute of Atlanta when he started to take music seriously. In 2013, he recorded professionally, producing the beat for his single “Get Like That,” after that, he knew
that he can make anything.
In 2014, the rapper/songwriter has cranked out his debut EP, Got Energy, which featured such tunes as “Moodkiller” and his hit single, “Energy”, which hit nearly 7K likes on Soundcloud. AntBailey describes his music as “Hype- Conscious,” meaning high energy, but also informing music with some subliminal and thought-provoking messages. shows his versatility by not only performing hip hop and R&B, but also Pop, Rock and EDM.
In Atlanta, he got the attention of HoodRich Pablo Juan’s older brother, Caleb and in New York, YNVS CEO Juan “Shampoo” Ramirez, who took AntBailey under his wing.
AntBailey cites J. Cole, DMX, Coldplay, Usher, the King of Pop, Michael Jackson as his musical influences, but idolizes the hardest working man in showbiz, James Brown, whose stage presence and performance AntBailey takes after. AntBailey has performed in both New York and Atlanta as well as Coast 2 Coast Live and SXSW. His goal is to be one of the greatest performers of all time, bringing back the feeling of performing and the lost art of dancing in hip hop. He hopes to open doors to more than just music, but to fashion and art as well, making him the creative visionary he was born to be. AntBailey is currently working visuals for his new single, “Bad Lil Shawty” as well as his debut album on the YNVS label.

It’s harder to wake up when you have mundane ish to do. Unveiling a brand new music video, Young France recruits UK Indie sensation Master Peace for huge new track Wake Up. Life becomes easier when you’re on the path to becoming a rockstar. The music video, shot in the UK, follows Young Franco and Master Peace individually, through a first-person lens as they undertake “mundane” daily activities until they then meet and begin to enjoy the iconic streets and taxis of London together. Franco spoke on the track:

Working with Master Peace has been an amazing experience. I found out about his project via his record “Eyes on You” and have wanted to work with him since that moment. I was writing a bunch of tracks in 2020. One of them being an early version of Wake Up, which I wrote with Elliot from Delta Riggs. I connected with Master Peace online and once I got to London last year, we smashed this in a couple of hours. His new record is fantastic and I’m super excited how this one turned out. Special mention to Danio from Husky Loops for some added production too.

Young Franco has started 2024 off with a bang, where he teamed up with UK rapper S1mba for the release of the funk laid hip hop track HITA. Wake Up follows a busy year of touring already, where he has done a sold out run of Europe with a string of sold-out shows in the USA. Young Franco has accumulated over 200 million streams and plans to continue to put Astralwerks Records on the map. Stream your copy of the single here and watch the dreamlike visual below.
