Ill Advanced Pays Homage “Maple (Video)

Ill Advanced delivers a lyrical ode laced with intricate wordplay in his new single/video “Maple Terrace.” The track serves as the first release from his new project ‘C’Est La Vie.’ Audiences will be taken back with flashes of black-and-white stills of family videos. They’re also sure to embrace moments of Ill Advanced with his children touring “Maple Terrace,” the home that’s proven to be a pivotal element of his growth. Throughout the video, the acclaimed artist pays homage and respect to his family/ancestors who fought for him to be here. He paints a vivid canvas of his childhood and part of his adulthood. It’s evident not only does he keep his feet planted in the concrete, but he’s also humble and grateful for the foundation built for him and the foundation he’s building for his family. Smooth piano keys narrate his tale while slightly knocking bass and drums highlight the lyrical ode.
