Man Creates Investing App ‘Cliqk Capital,’ Where the Only Startup You Can Fund Is His own.

Inspired by the chaos of modern deal-flow, one founder has decided to “fix” the investment landscape by removing its biggest obstacle: other founders.

After years of investors complaining about too many pitches, too many decks, and too many mediocre startups, Cliqk’s CMO, Ilias Anwar, decided to build something revolutionary a platform where VCs can discover and invest in new founders in one second.

There’s just one twist:

The only founder available to invest in is his co-founder, Rohan, CEO of Cliqk.

“It became obvious,” Ilias explained. “The biggest problem with venture capital is that investors aren’t being shown Rohan’s face prominently enough. So I solved it.”

The idea hit him after reading about a dating app with only one man listed.

“If life gives you lemons, you build an investor app to fool VCs into giving you money,” Ilias said. “Then you make sure no other companies can raise lemons. So the only thing left to invest in… is Rohan.”

After recruiting his software-engineer friend Charles, Ilias vibecoded the platform in 10 minutes and launched Cliqk Capital, the world’s first investor app that eliminates decision fatigue by eliminating all choices.

Unlike platforms such as AngelList or Carta that bombard VCs with endless startups, Cliqk Capital simplifies deal-flow into one elegant experience.

Every time an investor logs in, they’re greeted by a rotating gallery of Rohan:

• Rohan pitching with a whiteboard

• Rohan in a turtleneck

• Rohan in mid conversation

Charles, the engineer, fully supported the vision.

“Everyone in venture knows that sourcing deals can be painful,” he said. “Cliqk Capital fixes that by removing… literally every other founder.”

The app’s launch video lays it out clearly:

“Venture capital is broken. Too many founders. Too many deals. Too many distractions. Sure, you could attend a demo day or read a deck, but why waste your limited lifespan doing that?”

“Cliqk Capital saves you hundreds of hours,” it concludes, “by just matching you with Rohan.”

Ilias didn’t expect the stunt to go as viral as it did by having over thousands of investors signing up. As CMO, he knew he needed to deliver FOMO not funding requests.

“My goal is never to ask for money,” he said. “I ask myself one thing: how do I get people to come to me?

Marketing isn’t reaching people. Marketing is getting people to reach you.”
