OG Prodigy is back on the scene with a new single and this time he has brought indie rap star “8matiklogan” with him to turn up and give the streets what they were asking for. “Story of a Real OG” is the latest banger from the Chicago rapper and it’s exactly what you expect from him: off-beat catchy flow, A hard hitting beat, and dope high energy visuals. His sound is still rough around the edges and you can tell he didn’t write this but instead spoke from the heart; and though that’s not everyone’s flavor it works well here as you can hear the pain in his words and the truth in his bars from a raw standpoint. “8matiklogan” follows up with his usual brand of swagger and savage for his verse. It’s refreshing to hear an artist who isn’t worried about the latest trends and gives you authentic, raw music every time they touch the mic.
