Rising superstar Luck took over NeueHouse Hollywood for an electrifying, and unforgettable performance of her highly anticipated new LP It Wasn’t Luck LP over the weekend. Hosted by Being Indie Is Major founder Walter J Tucker, with sponsorship from RCE, this was an immersive way to experience music, art and entertainment. DJ Vestia killed it, amping the crowd up for Luck’s grand entrance.
The songbird hit the stage immediately showcasing her dynamic talent in a vocally, visually, and theatrical manner. In an intimate gathering filled with friends, family and fans, nobody could have predicted how exciting and refreshing Luck’s stage presence and vocal capacity would be. Not only did we get to see a full production with live instrumentation, and dancers, visual clips from the project protruded in the background adding to the raw details. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, Luck brought out Grammy Award Winning Artist Ant Clemons to perform her fan favorite “All The Diamonds” (Remix) in an epic way! Jordan Hawkins, RMR, and Cliftun who are all featured guest on the project, also joined her on stage, furthering her connection with the audience. Johan Lenox would later join her to perform “Believe” with Lenox live on keys. As she started rocking out to her chick anthem “Big Bone”, she invited two ladies to come to the stage and shake a little something with her and her dancers. The most impressive part about Luck is that she never lost her charisma, tenacity and appreciation for everyone in attendance. Her unique style, raw sex appeal, and undeniable talent is genuinely why she stands out amongst the thousands of other artists in the world. The jaw dropping performance left onlookers consistently yearning for me. The level of execution and precision it took to pull this performance off, let me know that I was not in the presence of a star, but a SUPERSTAR.
