Witney Carson may have had a three-part celebration of her nuptials, but there was only one dress she wanted to wear on the day she married her high school sweetheart.

“It’s beautiful. It’s gorgeous. It’s perfect,” the Dancing with the Stars pro, 22, tells PEOPLE of the Rivini gown she wore on her big day. “ I didn’t want to take it off.”
The gown was hand-made by Rivini designer Rita Vinieris and included a long veil and lace detailing along the bottom. Make-up artist Vivian Johnson and InStyler Global Artist Dean Banowetz of the InStyler Style Team helped Carson complete her look for walking down the aisle to college student Carson McAllister, 22.

For her bridesmaids, Carson chose Amsale dresses in a taupe color that fit in with the “winter wonderland” feel of her New Year’s Day ceremony.
“The dresses were all the same color, but they were all very different,” Carson says of the dresses worn by her fellow pro dancers Emma Slater, Lindsay Arnold, Brittany Cherry, and Jenna Johnson. “It meant so much for them to be there. I wanted the dresses to match their unique personalities.”
