Vancouver/Atlanta-based artist Heatwave returns with new fire entitled “Airplanes” featuring Axel Muco. Switching up styles, Heatwave gives us something different on “Airplanes” while flexing a few stamps in his passport. Auto-tuned vocals from Axel set the mood for Heatwave to drop in with his one of kind delivery and let us know how he’s living in the new year. “Airplanes” is smooth yet danceable with an uptempo groove that we haven’t heard from Heatwave yet. After dropping his recent visuals “Levelled Up” featuring Big Cheeko, it’s obvious Heatwave is stepping things up to a new plateau for 2019.
