Bob Dylan and the Band’s Big Pink Available for Rent

After Bob Dylan survived a motorcycle crash in 1966, he and the Band recorded a bunch of music in the basement of an upstate New York house they called Big Pink. The legendary sessions were partially released in 1975 as The Basement Tapes, but the full archive surfaced last year as the latest installment of Dylan’s official bootleg series. As Consequence of Sound points out, the house where the magic happened is now available for rent.

The West Saugerties house is available for $650 per night for a minimum of two nights. It’s important to note that “the basement is not included in the rental.” Find the listing here.
