Coach Is Pretending Their Last Men’s Show Didn’t Happen

London Collections: Men A/W 2015 - Coach - Catwalk
The thing about fashion and public relations is that everything is about image. being a writer, one may find themselves becoming confused as a brand asserts one line of facts to you while you remember something distinctly different. What typically happens over time by sheer virtue of repetition, is that the brand wins out. The latest instance of things not sounding like memory recalls has happened with Coach.

According to a new article on the label, their show this week at London Collections: Mens is their first full men’s show at LC:M. The problem is… we remember writing the same thing this past January when the brand showed Fall 2015. It’s a little confusing.

In the Business of Fashion article the paragraph reads:

[blockquote]The brand has already shown two womenswear collections at New York Fashion Week. Coach also presented a men’s collection in London last January. But this Saturday will see the brand make its first major move into menswear with a full-fledged show at London Collections: Men.[blockquote]

Maybe it’s something simple like, for the first season the brand wasn’t on the official schedule and this one they are. One would think it wouldn’t warrant practically ignoring a full first season of garments though.

Check out some of those garments on the following pages.
