Singer Chris Brown appeared before a judge in Washington, DC today to answer to a felony assault charge stemming from a weekend fight. His arraignment was delayed almost an entire day, but it’s now complete. Find out what happened in court inside…..
Jennifer Donelan of ABC7 reported that authorities reduced Chris’ charge to a misdemeanor assault and released him on his own recognizance earlier this evening. The "Fine China" crooner is due back in court in November to face the reduced charge.
TMZ reported that the charges were reduced because the injuries to the victim were minor and there were conflicting witness accounts of what happened. His bodyguard’s charge was also reduced to a misdemeanor.
