The movie “Dope” finally hit theaters today, and there are a number of reasons to be excited.
For starters, the storyline is one to take you on a roller coaster filled with laughs, nervousness, and an all around good time. It’s also filled with up and coming young actors and actresses including lead Shameik Moore playing Malcolm, Quincy Brown, and Kiersey Clemons. Both rapper A$AP Rocky and model Chanel Iman make their acting debuts alongside a few who’s been in the game such as Kimberly Elise and Zoe Kravitz.
If you haven’t seen the amount of promo the cast has been doing since the film debuted at the Sundance Film Festival in January, it’s safe to assume you’ve been living under a rock.
Moore and Iman slayed in Glamour magazine’s July issue, and the ladies of the film (Zoe Kravitz, Kersey Clemons, and Chanel Iman) served six pages in InStyle magazine’s recent issue. But the slayage didn’t stop there. The women of the film have been pulling out their Sunday’s best the past few months, and we couldn’t help but notice the heat they’ve been bringing.
