This Harlem-based collective will be releasing their Fxck The Politics mixtape with DJ Whoo Kid on 2/24, and their official album 1999 this Spring. Their current single “Voices” produced by Triple A is currently available on iTunes, and the official video just dropped last week. “Voices” As you know, Murda Mook and T-Rex made their names in the battle rap scene, from Smack DVD to URL TV battles, they are known worldwide for their vicious styles. Dutch Brown is known in freestyle / cypher circles, also a very aggressive lyricist. Because there is a stigma around lyrical / battle rappers not translating their skills to songwriting, DotMob has been recording for some time now to get the right blend of hooks, lyrical finesse and memorable beats for their album, as well as strong freestyles for the mixtape.
