Big Sean was with his hometown ex girlfriend for years before he broke up with her for 26-year-old TV star Naya Rivera. He admitted his ex, Ashley, was rightfully pissed at first. But she may be side eye-ing the hell out him today.
Last night, Naya hit the red carpet at LATINA Magazine’s Hollywood Hot List party and showed off her new FAT diamond engagement ring. And her rep later confirmed the news to media that her boyfriend Sean "Big Sean" Anderson proposed.
Back in April, Big Sean nabbed her from "Glee" as something pretty & from the industry to rock on his arm at major events, they took a joint vacay together to Hawaii with their moms, then he helped her on her debut single "Sorry" since she wants a singing career now, they took risque pics together to give their couple status even more publicity, and now….the engagement.
Sean told E! once that they originally met on Twitter, and he admitted during a radio interview that Naya was indeed the hottest girl he’s ever been with. He also gushed to E! about Naya saying, "Every morning I wake up, I look over at her and be like, ‘I’m winning so hard.’"
Neither have commented about the engagement on their respective social media outlets yet.
We’ve seen this string of events happen many times before. But hopefully these two are getting whatever it is they want and are happy as pie together.
