Battle Rap journalist Michael Hughes and cameraman Ellis Flynn caught up with Daylyt inside the Summer Madness 3 venue prior to any battles starting and prior to his post Summer Madness 3 altercation with Smack and his crew. Daylyt stood before our VladTV cameras Loc’d out from head-to-toe in Blue bandannas repping his Cali ties to the maximum with his crew supporting their set as well by wearing either Blue or Purple bandannas. He stated firmly that there “ain’t no antics tonight, I’m here for that real sh*t” and that “if you not from the streets you not gon’ relate to me tonight.” He and his crew were extremely confident that Daylyt would “body” Swave, despite the fact that the crowd might favor Swave being that he was the hometown NYC battle.
Prior to interviewing Daylyt, Battle Rap journalist Michael Hughes and cameraman Ellis Flynn caught up with Swave Sevah, PH, Sara Kana, T. Money Bagz, and their entire Team Homie crew outside of the venue. Just like Daylyt, Swave and his team were extremely confident in Swave’s ability to demolish Daylyt lyrically, as Sara Kana stated, “It’s a whole different world for Daylyt right now. There’s clouds in the air and sh*t,” while PH said “Somebody call the f*cking coroner.” Swave’s team was so hyped for him that he didn’t even get to say much, nor did he need to.
Unfortunately, Save Sevah vs Daylyt never got to happen, nor did JC vs John John Da Don, due to the fight that broke out on stage during the Math Hoffa vs Serius Jones battle. Twitter erupted after the fact with everyone talking about the brawl that occurred, meanwhile Math released a blog apologizing for his actions and explaining the events that lead up to the fight. Serius posted two blogs after the fight was over, one showing off his face having no injuries, and the other explaining the fight from his perspective.
Hopefully the Battle Rap community will be able to enjoy the would-be epic battle between Daylyt vs Swave Sevah in the near future.
