FAbzabove – “POTSTAR”

Boston’s rap scene has shown glimpses of prominence over the years, and it looks like this newest wave of artists will be the ones to finally push the region into the conversation of hip-hop’s most important hotspots. One of the names bringing an unforgettable energy to the scene is FAbzabove, who just unleashed his debut mixtape to the world, titled POTSTAR. The eight-song offering showcases his futuristic, ratchet sound, as its littered with melodic, chant-like hooks and mesmerizing auto-tuned vocals, transporting you to a smoked-out strip club somewhere in the year 2175 as soon as you press play. Overall, it’s an immersive project that leaves us wanting more from him soon.
