Jessica Simpson Accused Of Being Drunk On Home Shopping Network

Jessica Simpson may have had some liquid courage before her stint on the Home Shopping Network, or at least that is what viewers believe.

The billionaire fashion mogul was on the retail channel to debut her JSCollection, and seemed “dazed and confused” according to TMZ. Along with slurring her words, Simpson just seemed completely out of it, especially while telling a story about her little sister Ashlee sharing jeans with her hubby Evan Ross. She was also accused of being unsteady on her feet, and swaying back and forth through the duration of the show.

The singer turned designer was on HSN for two hours, which gave viewers more than enough time to share their concerns on Twitter. Others were thoroughly entertained by Simpson and live tweeted the show, who despite her antics, sold out her collection.

“Really HSN? You need to put Jessica Simpson to bed! I hope she doesn’t fall over,” one tweet said. Another wrote, “@HSN thank you for an amazing Thursday night with @JessicaSimpson. #QualityEntertainment #JessicaOnHSN.”

Now, we have to remember that Simpson did make a name for herself as a dumb blonde on MTV, but we refuse to believe that a woman worth billions is really stupid. However, we wouldn’t be surprised if Simpson had a glass of wine or two before going on air.
