During a recent interview with Jim & Kim at Fresh 102.7, Justin Timberlake spoke up in defense of Miley Cyrus’ raunchy VMAs performance, amidst a lot of backlash from fellow celebrities and the general public. Justin feels as though Miley did what many before her did at the VMAs — put on an edgy show, and he feels that the public should “let her do her thing.” He referenced Modannna and his ex-girlfriend Britney Spears putting on raunchy performances at the VMAs in the past as well.
“It’s the VMAs — what did you guys expect? I like Miley. I like her a lot… she’s young, she’s letting everyone know she’s growing up. It’s the VMAs. It’s not like she did it at the Grammys. Let her do her thing.”
