Kate Moss and Marc Jacobs share a shoutout to the “basic you-know-whats” among us (and make us ever-so grateful the designer joined social media), Brad Goreski shares a “groundbreaking” spring trend, and Solange Knowles gives us oh, so much twirl inspiration. Attention all “basic bitches,” Moss and Jacobs have a message for you! The longtime pals gave a hilarious rendition of YouTube star Lohanthony’s original leg twirl, which Jacobs says was all Moss’s idea (because of course it was. She’s the opposite of basic.)
Not familiar with the term? Allow Urban Dictionary to explain: “An adjective used to describe any person, place, activity involving obscenely obvious behavior, dress, action.”

Next, Brad Goreski and longtime boyfriend Gary Janetti used Dubsmash to help everyone better understand the latest trends, by reenacting the infamous line from The Devil Wears Prada. You know which one we’re talking about.
And finally, Lupita Nyong’o (and now Kendall Jenner) may have mastered the ballgown twirl, but Knowles just won the contest for fiercest cape spin/walk/dance we’ve ever seen. She “waked like Mariah [Carey] runs” to a song by the singer and explained in the caption it was because she’s “ridiculous,” wearing a cape and it was the end of the Clicquot Rich party. You do you, Solange!
