Labyrinth Reboot in the Works

In 1986, David Bowie starred as Jareth the Goblin King in the cult classic Jim Henson film Labyrinth. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film is being rebooted by the Jim Henson Co. and TriStar (a Sony company). Nicole Perlman (Guardians of the Galaxy) has signed on to write the script, though it’s currently unclear if the film is a sequel or a remake. (Entertainment Weekly reports that it’s a sequel.)

In the film, Bowie’s Goblin King kidnaps a baby (the younger brother of Jennifer Connelly’s character) and hangs out with a bunch of Muppets. Find a clip of Bowie performing “Magic Dance” below.
