The 18-year-old beauty maven shared a barefaced selfie (well, as barefaced as we’ve seen her in looooonggg time) on Instagram Monday, proving her complexion is pretty amazing even without all that contouring.
“Good morning,” Kylie captioned her just-rolled-out-of-bed mirror selfie, which also showed off her natural shoulder-grazing lob.
The star went all-out glam on the VMAs red carpet Sunday, selecting a long-sleeve Balmain micro-mini, sultry makeup and a black banged wig. Her afterparty dress was even more provocative — a cleavage enhancing Balmain bandage dress.

Kylie’s makeup-free moment didn’t last long, however. Shortly after she posted the natural photo, she shared a photo of her latest beauty project — an upcoming lip kit — explaining that she was testing out new shades.

The youngest member of the Kardashian/Jenner brood told PEOPLE earlier this year that she’s still surprised by how much her lips (and colorful hair changes!) have influenced her fans.
“I never encouraged people to line their lips or wear lip liner, but I like it. It was wild — and the blue hair was pretty big too,” she shared. “Honestly, I feel if I had never chopped my hair off or dyed it blue and it was still the same three years ago, then there wouldn’t be that much hype. There are so many girls that I see wearing blue hair. I saw this girl at a carnival and it was like super casual — ‘Hey, can I get a picture’ — and her nails were exactly how mine were the week before, the design and everything. But it’s crazy because I don’t realize how many people like the things that I do.”
