Despite what you see on Instagram, not every celeb, designer and model spent the summer drinking rose on a yacht in the Mediterranean. Some have been hard at work, and there’s a slew of new clothing lines, ad campaigns and collaborations launching this fall to prove it. Here’s a roundup of everything to look out for come September.

After wearing her own designs on the red carpet all summer, Melissa McCarthy’s much-anticipated clothing line, Seven7, is finally hitting stores at the beginning of the month (it recently debuted on HSN). The collection (which will be available at Nordstrom, Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s and her own website) ranges from sizes four to 28 and contains fun prints, asymmetrical hemlines and flattering dress silhouettes.

Carrie Underwood is another star who’s been trying her hand at designing, with her new activewear line, CALIA. And for the brand’s fall campaign, the new mom got a little help from her fans by soliciting fun, fitness-inspired mantras to use in the ads. One that made the cut: “Nap Time Is My Crunch Time.”

Meanwhile, Ellen DeGeneres is taking her ED line to the Big Apple, where she’ll be hosting a pop-up shop at Bergdorf Goodman during Fashion Week. Her collection, which features apparel, accessories and home goods, will also include a limited-edition selection of pricey pieces (ranging from $800-$3750) created exclusively for the famed department store.
“I’m so excited to showcase my lifestyle brand, ED, at Bergdorf Goodman during Fashion Week,” DeGeneres said in a statement. “We originally wanted it during Shark Week, but I think this will be just as good.”

Target’s exciting collaboration with designer Adam Lippes doesn’t hit stores until Sept. 27, but it’s not too early to start scoping out your favorite pieces from the all-plaid collection. We have our eye on the shirt-dress midi, a cozy camel-colored turtleneck and all of the oversize scarves.
Petra Němcová is breaking an outdated fashion rule in the new Level 99 jeans ad. In a pic she shared on Instagram, the supermodel can be seen wearing a pair of eco-friendly white-wash skinnies from the brand’s Forever White collection. So for the last time, it’s totally fine to wear white after Labor Day, people!
Model Nadja Bender fronts Nine West’s fall ads, shot by photographer Camilla Akrans. If the pumps she’s wearing in the Instagram teaser shot are any indication of the offerings for the season, our wallets might be in for some trouble.
And here’s one you can’t help but be pumped about. Fifth Harmony, recorded a new song, “Rock Your Candie’s,” for their partnership with Candie’s — and it’s catchy! The song will be featured in a commercial, airing this Sunday during the Teen Choice Awards, but we’ve got a preview clip, above.
“We are so excited to be able to partner with Candie’s on this song,” Ally Brooke, of Fifth Harmony, said in a statement. “They have such an amazing line with beautiful clothes and super cute shoes.”
