The pop star’s commitment to her underarm hair started strong in April, when she took the stage at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame sporting fully grown-out pits. She wasn’t the first celebrity to display an unshaven underarm, but she was by far the most devoted to the cause, posting Instagram after Instagram of her new do.

She then took it to the next level, jumping on a trend that’s so popular that even the New York Times is writing about it: dyed pits. This change required bleach, pink tint, and many, many photos of the situation. (If you’re wondering, yes, the carpet matches the upholstery, as she helpfully pointed out in this semi-NSFW Instagram.)

Which brings us to today, and this truly disgusting photo of the results of the star’s wax job. “R.I.P. P.I.T.” she wrote, looking tearful, as pal Katy Weaver helped oversee the change. (We’re not linking to the rest of the series because it’s almost lunchtime, and well, we’ve had enough excitement for one day.)
