”We Got To Go Out and Hear It In A Club”
Jay-Z made a point to shout-out Miley Cyrus and her twerking fixation on the track “Somewhereinamerica” on his Magna Carta Holy Grail, and the pop singer says that she knew about the line before the album was released. In an interview with MTV UK, Cyrus says their mutual buddy Pharrell Williams already told her it was coming. “Pharrell had actually hit me [up], he was like ‘Jay-Z wants to call you and tell you that he’s shouting you out in the song tomorrow,'” she says. “I was in Miami and was doing crazy press for my record,” she explained. “So I came out… and we got to go out and hear it in a club. It was fun.” |
