NickoJOURNEY is a Mozambican recording artist, based in San Francisco. A versatile rapper, his vast musical reach shines through each song. Having grown up in Maputo and Sydney, his multicultural views are the backbone of his message, masked by an undeniably tuned pop sensibility. As a teen, he listened to acts such as Linkin Park, Kanye West, David Bowie and others, which is when he decided to become a multi-genre artist. A poet, he’s been releasing a mixture of electric trap tunes and eclectic projects; having performed in art houses in Maputo and forays into filmmaking. His first official album, The Art Salesman, is a poppy mixture of all that makes him a surefire candidate for the next big thing.
