Nicky Hilton may be in the throes of wedding planning (rumors are buzzing that she’ll be saying “I do” to James Rothschild at Kensington Palace on July 10), but the socialite somehow managed to find time in her busy schedule to collaborate with Smashbox Cosmetics to create the purr-fect new cosmetics collection — so we got the scoop on her cat-eye kit (along with her upcoming bridal beauty routine) below!
The 31-year-old hotel heiress has partnered with Smashbox to create three limited-edition cat-inspired makeup kits (one for each of her favorite cities: New York City, Los Angeles and London), and each kit is filled with a smoky eye shadow trio, a liquid eyeliner and mascara — all in an adorable cat-shaped cosmetic bag.
“Smashbox came to me about collaborating on a makeup collection, and I adore cats, so I instantly thought of doing a cat eye kit,” she tells PEOPLE. “Cats are graceful, mysterious and pretty. I had so much fun designing the kitty cosmetic bag that the kit comes in.”
Basing a collection off her signature liner flick was basically a no-brainer, she says. “The cat eye is my go-to makeup look,” she tells PEOPLE. “It’s versatile — you can go clean and classic or smoky and sexy.”
So does that mean the star will be sporting her favorite winged-liner look on her big day? Probably not, she says.
“I want minimal makeup — I want to look like me on my wedding day,” she says. “So many brides get carried away and pile on too much makeup. I think it’s about looking naturally beautiful.”
And as for her hair, the star plans on keeping things simple and is forgoing any dramatic styles and/or cuts before tying the knot. “I’ll definitely get a trim before the big day, but no drastic changes.”

But most importantly, let’s talk about the dress! While the star already has her gown picked out, she’s not spilling any details (and we don’t blame her!) in order to keep it a secret from her hubby-to-be.
“My dream dress is being made in Paris right now,” she says. “I’m heading there [this week] for my fifth fitting.”
