We’ve stalked the backstages of your favorite designers like Milly and Lela Rose to get the scoop on how nails and makeup will evolve over the next year. The experts are suggesting chic glowing skin, sparkling finishes and light textures. What could be easier than that?
Beauty.com makeup artist Romy Soleimani (above) worked behind the scenes at Lela Rose and gave the models simple, precise and clean cat eyes with Keyvn Aucquoin’s felt tip eyeliner. “No mascara, full plush brows, but not heavy…the cat eye will never go out of style,” she shared with us.

Achieving a radiant glow on the skin and flushed luminous cheekbones were a focus for Soleimani as well.

As far as trends across the board, Soleimani said, “I’m definitely feeling more eyes than lips…a lot of cat eyes; there’s a lot of pinks and rose golds.”
