The body positive movement is one that has been taking the fashion & beauty industry by storm – and for good reason. In the past few weeks alone, fans have been embracing their curves through endless efforts ranging from the backlash of Instagram’s ban on the hashtag #curve, to the #LoveYourShape movement started by PeopleStyleWatch.

Well now there’s even more reason to love your body, thanks to a new web series from a group of plus size models – Margaret Macpherson, Jessica Vander Leahy, Olivia Langdon, Sophia Sheppard and Stefania Ferrario. The new venture is called #ProjectWomanKIND, and its mission is to explore what type of women we are outside of society’s standards.

A range of video series include six short one-on-one interviews showcasing each woman’s personal struggles with body image – and if you ask us, their words are pretty amazing. The five beauties show the courage it takes to embrace a body type that isn’t society’s ideal, as well as how they triumph through those journeys both in and out of the fashion industry.

Now that’s a movement we can definitely stand behind!

Check out the teaser for Project WomanKind below and a few shots from the models’ photo shoot on the pages ahead.
