Here in Manhattan, things are absolutely frigid. The skies dumped our streets with snow yesterday that hasn’t even completely cleared up and we’re hearing there might be more on the way. So needless to say we’d like to be almost anywhere but here.
A prime place? The sunny bright shores of the Mediterranean in the beginning of s summer or even in the dead of spring. Flower blooms all around, carefree living, flip flops while casually strolling. Ah, that’s the life right now. And it just so happens that Dolce & Gabbana just dropped a capsule collection that’s perfect for that sort of thing.
First thing first, it’s to be noted that this is the brand’s first ever capsule collection done exclusively for a retailer. That fact makes the collection fairly significant for their portion of history. With that in mind, it’s fitting that they erred on the quaint sifde, designing eight pieces all done in a yellow-y oversized floral print for the online e-tailer.
Silhouettes are true to the Italian designers. You’ll found flounced ruffles, fit and flare silhouettes and overall flirtiness. Pieces start at $1,025, but honestly if you’re headed to warmer temperatures for a vacation from the winter’s chill, what else would you want to wear?!
