In general, having a case of the blues is usually never that pretty, but the-all navy SPORTMAX dress that “How I Met Your Mother” actress Cobie Smulders wore to the Cinema Society and Gucci Guilty screening of ”Captain America: The Winter Solider” last night blew that notion right out of our minds.
The floor-length dress featured a fitted bodice with a plunging neckline that lead into a belted waist and peplum flair. The dress, while elegant, also has a sort of fortified athletic appeal that complements Smulders’ character in the superhero action film, Maria Hill.
Simple hair and makeup kept the focus on the dress itself, right where it should be. Smulders was simply smoldering (sorry, had to go there).
In other news, Cobie’s run on HIMYM, which was nearly a decade long, came to close last night with the series finale. Now she’ll have way more time to impress us on the red carpet, more looks like this please!
