The Mighty Casey – “True Champion” | @CaseyGane

As one of the originators of the “cult classic” Mighty Casey is in a very interesting place. Going the 90’s version of viral with his hit “White Girls,” which was featured heavily on B.E.T. Uncut and in the Wayans Brothers movie, White Chicks, Casey has been able to watch the game and his perspective evolve. With multiple cultures clashing and upheaval happening from all sides, Casey makes a comeback with the reggae infused fun anthem “True Champion” featuring Trinidadian reggae star, Jah Bami just in time for the 2018 World Cup. Produced by Mannix and Mighty Casey himself, “True Champion” (available on Spotify, & iTunes now) is the first single from the 5 song digital EP, Return Of The Rudebwoy, which will be released this August.
