We knew Taylor Swift would hit the carpet with her “Bad Blood” squad at the MTV Video Music Awards, but we’re shocked that she’s the only one wearing a crop top! (Refresher: Crop tops are to the VMAs what bikinis are to the beach.)

The multi-nominee stunned in a glittering sequin long-sleeve crop top and matching high-waisted harem pants, accessorized with metallic pumps, a sleek pony and mega cat-eye liner. And no, it wasn’t a date night for her and beau Calvin Harris. Tay was flanked by her closest friends who all dressed very differently for the BFF occasion.
Gigi Hadid gave us Bond girl vibes with teased hairstyle and her bronze vacation glow. Her tan was highlighted by her low cut citrus-colored dress featuring a slit-up-to-there. Supermodels Martha Hunt and Cara Delevingne both went for sparkly LBDs, while Selena Gomez, Lily Aldridge and Mariska Hargitay opted for long black gowns.

Wearing coordinating woutfits (re: all white outfits) were Hailee Steinfeld and Serayah. The Empire star also gets the award for Sexiest Squad member as her shredded dress exposed her undergarments.
As for the biggest risktaker of the group? Probably Karlie Kloss, who wore gold lace-up flats with her orange studded tank dress. (Note, she’s still taller than everyone.)
