Wale Is Working With Nicki Minaj

During an interview with Hot 97, Wale shared some details about his upcoming album, The Gifted. The MMG rapper revealed that superstar Nicki Minaj will be making an appearance on the album.

Wale also acknowledged that Minaj’s fanbase can be very devoted–as evidence by the backlash Hot 97 host Peter Rosenberg endured after he feuded with the rapstress in 2012.

“I love Nicki Minaj and all of her fans. God bless you all,” Wale said. “We wake up to this sh*t. This troll sh*t. I’m about this troll life man, this troll response life…I can take an opinion, but I don’t like when you tryna spew hate and like contaminate the way other people think. Our generation—niggas is very impressionable.”
